I arrived at my pension to the noise you really don’t want to hear (loud hammer drill) and clouds of brick dust. (Not sure why this photo is a gif. Maybe it will animate.)

They were marginally apologetic and gave me €5 off whilst promising the room was clean (it is) and the drilling would stop at 7pm (it did).
Washed my clothes (what else is a bidet for?) then shaved the guns and face in the blue bath that I had to fill with the shower.

I hung the shirts on hangers and promise that the light fitting was already like that.
I walked to Meira and went to what I hoped was a tapas bar. It was heaving and full of very quiet (nervous?) Spaniards watching the football. Spain drawing with Germany with 5 minutes left. (They won in the last minute but I heard no shouting like you would in the UK).
No food appeared to be being eaten so I’m at the local pizza parlour waiting for food. I’m suddenly ravenous (understandable).
